This tool converts a temperature from degrees Celsius (°C) to degrees Fahrenheit (°F) using the standard mathematical relationship between the two scales.
Review these values before running the tool. The labels below come from the actual form so the guidance matches what you will use on this page.
Fahrenheit = (Celsius × 9 ÷ 5) + 32.
The +32 offset matters because the two scales use different zero points; conversion is not a simple multiplication by one constant.
For 25°C: 25 × 9 ÷ 5 = 45, then 45 + 32 = 77°F.
The Fahrenheit scale has a different zero point. The 9/5 factor adjusts degree size and 32 adjusts the offset.
The formula is exact. Display precision depends on how many decimal places are shown.
Use (°F - 32) × 5 ÷ 9.
